Who it's for, and what it needed

Swafy Design is a boutique interior design studio working on new construction and full-home renovations along the South Orange County coast.

Its clients are homeowners taking on major projects, plus the builders and architects who refer them. The website needed to feel as considered as the interiors themselves, and give each audience a clear route to a consultation.

What we built

Each part of the site, and the job it does for Swafy Design.

  • An editorial design system

Cormorant Garamond paired with Jost, a warm neutral palette and generous whitespace. The photography does the selling, and the type sets the tone.

  • Project pages that build trade trust

Each project has a full gallery, a client testimonial and credits for the architect, builder and photographer. The credits are what builders and architects look for before referring work.

  • A page written for the trade

A dedicated "Who We Work With" page speaks directly to builders and architects, the studio's strongest source of referrals.

  • A consultation-led inquiry flow

One call to action across the site. The inquiry form asks for project type, location and timeline, so every lead arrives already qualified.

  • Local SEO for a service-area business

Structured data lists the eight coastal cities the studio serves. Project pages are named for their location, and every page has its own title and description.

  • A fast static build with a CMS behind it

Hand-built in Astro and served from Cloudflare's edge. Projects live in WordPress, used as a headless CMS: it holds the content, and the fast static site displays it. When a project is published in WordPress, the site rebuilds itself automatically. It is set up so the studio can add new projects without touching code. In practice the studio prefers to hand that off, so we publish new projects for them as ongoing work. Image-heavy pages load quickly with no plugin overhead on the front end.

What the review is not

  • A generic SEO grader with a fake score
  • A promise of Google rankings
  • A technical report full of jargon
  • A sales pitch disguised as a free audit
